Well, December is well under way and even though I think its so important to keep in mind the reason for the season, I definitely indulge in choosing and shopping for gifts for the special people in my life. If like me, you enjoy perusing the internet for all sorts of present ideas, then you have come to the right place.
I did a gift guide last year (which you can read here if you fancy) and although a few items do crossover- you will hopefully find a couple of new ideas.
I'm going to try and make this more a 'list-y' post rather than an explanation for each item and I've linked where possible so you can check out the prices and stuff for each thing. Anyway, lets get straight into it!
Gifts for the - BEAUTY LOVER
Tarte 'Pretty Paintbox Collectors Makeup Case Palette' (this was part of the holiday collection and I don't think it's available anymore but I found an ebay listing for one)
Gifts for the - HOME LOVER
Coffee Table Book- I included 'Games for Bored Adults', 'The Book of Questions' and 'The Big Bucket List Book'
Gifts for the - BOYFRIEND
Xbox/PlayStation Game- Some good ideas for starters if you're not sure are 'FIFA 17', 'Destiny', 'Dishonoured 2', 'Battlefield 1', 'Dead Rising 4', and 'Call of Duty'. Honestly if you aren't sure which ones to buy, just go the homepage of an electronics store and browse the bestsellers.
Cologne- A couple of nice ones are 'One Million', 'Invictus', and 'Black XS'. Wait for the sales and you can pick some up reasonably cheap. If you're not sure what kind of scent to go for, you can sometimes find travel sizes which you could go for to avoid wasting money on a smell that he might not like.
An Experience- This could be anything from concert tickets to a massage. Whatever he's into, you can always find something to suit. A few more ideas are: Cooking class, Cut throat razor shave, racetrack driving, a intro workshop to a skill that he'd like to learn, skydiving- get creative, the more unexpected, the better!
Favourite Lollies
Gadgets, Gadgets, Gadgets- Random little knick knacks are always a hit. I tend to browse the 'gift' section of stores like Urban Outfitters, ASOS, City Beach, Glue and General Pants and then look on places like ebay to find them cheaper. I always miss having something to 'play' with on Christmas day like we did when we were kids so I usually try and think of things that can be fiddled around with after the excitement of Christmas morning but before Christmas lunch. I bought Bryce a couple of 'Star Wars Metal 3D Models' to make and a little 'Mini Drone' this year and even if when he breaks, it will have been worth it to fill out some of our day with toys.
Cool Socks- It's become a little tradition that I buy Bryce some sort of cool socks for Christmas and I found this cute cracker set on ASOS
Gifts for the - BEST FRIEND
Gifts for the - TECHIE
A Powerbank
A Harddrive
Well that concludes another gift guide- hopefully you have a few ideas for people in your life this year!
Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas!
